Guten tag! We’re in
Vienna for the next week and have met up with the students. This morning, we all
took the tram to the University of Vienna and Mark conducted an orientation
meeting.

There are 28 students, 2 tutors, Mark, Maggie and me.

Before the students arrived on Saturday, Mark and I had a
couple of days in Vienna to ourselves.
This is the view of St. Stephans Cathedral from our hotel room (AM St.
Stephansplatz Hotel).
Vienna is always a fun place to visit – there are museums,
old churches, tons of stores, Mozart, Klimt, and hundreds of years of antiquity
to enjoy – here are a couple of views of St. Stephanplatz:
We had lunch at the Sacher Hotel Café where we ate the original Sacher Torte:
Tomorrow, we travel to Brno in the Czech Republic to spend
the day at the Mendel Museum. On
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, the class meets for regular session at the
University of Vienna.
