We see this picture every day in our kitchen . . . but starting Aug. 1st, we'll be seeing this landscape and other wonderful sights up close when we visit Italy!
After our tour through Northern Italy, we head to Austria to visit Salzburg and then meet up with Mark's students in Vienna. This year's class (28 students and 2 tutors) will be staying one week in Vienna but traveling to Brno and Olomouc in the Czech Republic for day visits. Then we will head to Cambridge for three weeks. Mark will be conducting the study abroad class, "Genetics - From Mendel to Genomes," and he will be assisted by Maggie once again as the on site coordinator.
I will add photos and a travel log over the next six weeks. Our first stop: Rome, Italy!
Ciao!
